THE Editor regrets that, in the letterfrom the American General, printed at the closeof the Account from Pennsylvania, a few lineswere suffered to remain, which convey a cen-sure on some former American missionaries. Itmay have not been perfectly easy for a person ina very different walk of life to feel exactly thedifficulties of their situation. Whoever dulyweighs the state of the Indians, may account fortheir want of success without thinking themmuch to blame. At any rate the Editor is dis-posed to call it an oversight, that in a workintended to show the successful diligence of oneset of men, there should have slipped in a need-less censure of another.
