to me ‘till now you are come: I wish I was young, then I would do what you say direct-ly, and I will go and see how your Friends work at Oneida, every two or three Days, &; tell our young Men how you do: He afterwards made a moving and weighty Speech to the Indians in his own Language; the weight of which was sensibly felt, even, by us who did not understand a word of what he said; and we afterwards understood was re-markably so by them; they having never heard the like from him before.
