The weather for several days past being very sultry, Our Landlord invited the whole of our Company, viz. Six Friends, Wm.Wilson, (Merchant from Fort Pitt &; Indian interpretter,) Doctor McCoskry, &; J. Heckenvelder, to spend the Day at his Farm about five miles below on the opposite side of the River.- We set off about 9 oClock, taking with us provision &;ca., and spent an agreeable day under a pleasant Shade on the Banks of the River, - returning home in the afternoon we cross'd the River, and some of us landed at the Spring Well &; walk'd home, the distance being three miles, and the Road very pleasant. 3d.
