Bio notes | Friends from the United States migrated to Upper Canada after the American Revolution. The earliest meetings at Pelham and Black Creek on the Niagara Penninsula were had no official recognition until 1799 when they became a distant part of Philadelphia Yearly Meeting. In 1810, these meetings were transferred to Canada Half Yearly Meeting, a part of New York Yearly Meeting. |
