Bio notes | James Emlen travelled in company with Quaker minister, Peter Yarnall, to the southern states in 1796 and 1797. He married Phebe Peirce, daughter of James, in 1783. Indian Committee of PYM, appointed to attend treaty negotiations between US and Six Nations (1794). He died in 1799. |
