Bio notes | Peter Field was a silversmith and watchmaker. He worked in Albany, New York, from 1795 to 1800, but also worked in elsewhere in New York State in New York City, Hudson, Newburgh, and Auburn, as well as Danbury, Connecticut. Peter married Phebe Doty, daughter of Elijah Doty and Susannah Ferris, in 1779 in Quaker Hill NY. |
