Bio notes | Son of Robert Morris, a major financier of the Revolution. Thomas was a lawyer and elected as a Federalist to US House of Representatives for the 1801-1803 term. In 1793, he built a large home at Canandaigua where he entertained many visitors. A year later, this house was the site of a conference between Indian Chiefs and Colonel Pickering. |
